Forever Angles Beauty Pageant!
ForeverAngel's Pageant is a benefit pageant to raise money for RETT Syndrome research. Hosted by Amanda Minsky Dream Girls USA 2008 National Queen of Queens. Let me start by telling you a story about a little girl who has captured my heart.--
“ A baby girl full of life and curiosity is suddenly robbed of the ability to use her hands. She begins to fall down while walking, words she has just began to speak have disappeared. She withdraws socially. There is little or no eye contact with her loved ones. Her once loved toys sit untouched. Her hands begin to dance in repetitious motion. Laughter is replaced by seizures."
Rett Syndrome is a devastating childhood neurological disorder with no cure and is the leading genetic cause of severe impairment in females. It strikes at random and deprives little girls of speech, normal movements, and hand use, bends their spines and weakens their bones. It brings seizures, breathing and swallowing difficulties, blood pressure and heart rate instability. It leaves its victims profoundly disabled and dependent on others for every basic need.
I'm proud to say in the past 2 years we have been able to raise over $5,800.00 for the Rett Syndrome Research Foundation. With your help researchers are one step closer in finding a cure.

Lindsey Claire Bears
My name is Shelby and my goal every year is to collect teddy bears and donate them to hospitals, EMS, firestations, police and CPS / Foster care programs.
I do this in memory of a special little girl named Lindsey Claire Borger. She lost her battle with a rare genetic disorder called Cockayne Syndrome .
Cindi - Lindsey Claire's Mommy- My little punkin', Lindsey Claire, is smiling down from Heaven, where she sits on the comfy lap of Jesus! Our special thanks to all the giving hearts who are making this project a success - after years in the making, many thoughts and prayers into this venture, I, along with Jamie and Shelby, are thrilled to see it happening! Lindsey Claire was our strength, and through her memory, she can now provide strength, support and comfort to others - our job is to keep the world safe and secure for our children, and a small step in doing this is with Lindsey Claire Bears!
